Happiest Birthday Wishes

I love this Happiest Birthday Wishes Stamp Set! It has super versatile birthday greetings, and since birthday cards are the most common card I make, it’s had a good workout since it was released in the 2020 Annual Catalog in June.

For today’s cards, I used a technique that’s great for a large stamp which this stamp set features. Big stamps can sometimes be hard to use but are perfect when you want the sentiment to be the feature of the card. I wanted to make a big stack of cards for August birthdays using the Stamparatus. I just added ink to the top and bottom of the stamp directly with the ink pads and then to the middle with a sponge dauber.

Colors: Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry, Granny Apple Green | DSP: Whale of a Time

Colors: Rococo Rose, Bumblebee, Calypso Coral | DSP: Artistry Blooms

Colors: Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Night of Navy | DSP: Boho Indigo

These cards were Clean & Simple to make! The card bases are a half sheet of cardstock (8-1/2 x 5-1/2, folded in half and scored at 4-1/4), the Designer Series Paper (DSP) are all cut at 2 x 5-1/2 and adhered to the card bases.

I pre-cut the largest die from the scalloped rectangles (from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies) and kept one of the negatives. I was then able to place the die cut into the Stamparatus for quick & easy placement. This is a great tip for cards you want to mass produce!
