Wanted to Say Birthday Card

I wanted to make some fun birthday cards so I used the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say Dies as the focal point.

I make this card, I started by adhering a piece of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to the front of a Moody Mauve card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut another piece of Fresh As A Daisy DSP with one of the Radiating Stitches Dies. I adhered the die cut to a piece of White Vellum and then to the card front.

To add depth to the die cut words, I attached Adhesive Sheets to the back of a piece of Moody Mauve card stock and then cut it with the sentiment from the Wanted To Say Dies. I then cut a piece of Basic White card stock with the layering die from the Wanted To Say Dies and then adhered the two die cuts together.

To finish the card front, I added three Moody Mauve dots from the 2023-2025 In Color Dots.

The sentiment stamped on the inside of the card is from the Pansy Patch photopolymer stamp set. It is stamped in Moody Mauve ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and has a strip of Fresh As A Daisy DSP at the bottom.

• Moody Mauve – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base scored at 4-1/4″, Wanted To Say die cut

• White Vellum – 3-3/4″ x 5″ panel

• Basic White – Wanted To Say die cuts, 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel (inside card)

• Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper – 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ panel, Radiating Stitches die cut, 5/8″ x 5-1/4″ strip (inside card)
