This is what it looks like opened up!
Notice how I cut the front card piece on both ends & then glued them down? I used THICK Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ (score at 4-1/4) and fold in half for card base. Then cut at 1-1/4″ and 4-1/4″ on the card front up to the score line, then glue those pieces down to the inside of card the card base.
You can’t tell by the photo, but after I stamped the milkshake glass I added a piece of clear packing tape over the top of it and then die cut it. This makes it shiny and looks like glass in person!
I just love the way this card turned out and think it is so cute! If you’d like to make this card too, here are the measurements and supplies:
Card Stock:
- THICK Basic White- 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″, score at 4-1/4″ and fold in half for card base. Cut card front at 1-1/4″ and 4-1/4″ and glue these pieces down to the inside of the card base.
- Fresh Freesia- 4 x 5-1/4″
- Fresh Freesia- 1 x 4″ (2)
- Fresh Freesia- cut out with Double Oval Punch (scallop)
- Fresh Freesia- 2-3/4 x 4″
- Basic White – die cut Stitched Rectangle
- Basic White – stamp glass, ice cream, straw, cherry & die cut
- Basic White – stamp words onto & punch out with Double Oval Punch
- Basic White – 2-3/4 x 4″ (inside of card)
