Christmas Season Movie Night Gift Idea

Do you have a friend or family member who’s an avid movie-watcher? If so, then this is the gift for them! A bag of microwave popcorn is tucked inside the gift box. A small envelope is attached to the ribbon – the perfect spot to place a gift card for an online movie streaming service. FUN! Stamps: Christmas Season (photopolymer 156293)

Ink: Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad (147114), Evening Evergreen Classic Stampin’ Pad (155576), Soft Suede Classic Stampin’ Pad (147115)

Paper (including Cutting Dimensions): Evening Evergreen Cardstock {CS} (155574) scrap, Soft Suede Cardstock {CS} (115318) scrap, Real Red & White 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper (159578) Red scrap, Painted Christmas 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper {DSP} (156292) 5-1/2” x 6”

Basic Supplies: Stampin’ Pierce Mat (126199), Bone Folder (102300), Clear Blocks B (117147), C (118486), and D (118485) or save 10% with the Clear Block Bundle (118491),

Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Seal (152813),

Mini Glue Dots (103683), Simply Shammy (147042) or Stampin’ Scrub (126200), Stampin’ Mist Stamp Cleaner (153648), Grid Paper (130148) or Small Grid Paper (149621),

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Stamp pine bough images with Evergreen ink on top of Box, stamping off once for some images.
  2. Stamp one large and two small pinecone images with Espresso ink on Suede CS. Stamp details on all three pinecones with Espresso ink. Cut out with Dies.
  3. Cut out Pocket Envelope from DSP, circle reinforcement from Evergreen CS, and bow pieces from Glimmer Paper with coordinating Dies.
  4. Fold and assemble Pocket using Bone Folder to burnish creases and Liquid Glue to secure flaps. Add reinforcement with Liquid Glue. Insert Gift Card.
  5. Complete Box as follows:
  • Insert popcorn and close lid securing with Glue Dots if you choose;
  • Wrap ribbon around Box, add Pocket, and then tie knot;
  • Assemble bow, securing tail to loops with Glue Dot, and then attach to Pocket with Glue Dots; and,
  • Attach a small and large pinecone in corners with Liquid Glue and then add small pinecone with Dimensionals.
