Today, I’m sharing a card we made at our Clean & Simple Card Class. We used the Soft Seedlings stamp set, which I absolutely love! You are going to want it in your collection! You’ll use it for your nature cards, scrapbook pages, masculine cards, thinking of you, get well, retirement, fall birthdays and I’m sure the list goes on!
The neat thing about this stamp set is it’s a DisINKtive stamp set which means it creates different opacities in a single stamped image. When you stamp the images, they are so real looking!
This card comes together fairly quickly. First, we stamped the leaves in Daffodil Delight ink on to a piece of Basic White cardstock. I made sure to keep them very close to the edge of my card as I knew I would be layering a few other colors. Next, we stamped the leaves in Pumpkin Pie ink, randomly going over the first layer of Daffodil Delight. The last layer we added was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink, stamped over the other two layers randomly so it looked like a collection of leaves in the sky! The greeting is stamped in Mossy Meadows ink.
The stampers all loved how this card turned out, and some of them chose to stamp the ‘so grateful’ sentiment also.
