Calendar Easel Cards

I love to create some form of calendar cards each year. This year I created a couple of differently decorated versions of Calendar Easel Post-It Note Cards:

These are all really quite easy to make. I ordered the calendars from Vippies and used just a half a stack of Post-It Notes so that they wouldn’t be too thick. They fit in a standard-size envelope for mailing.

Colors: Gilded Autumn DSP, Crumb Cake Cardstock, Cajun Craze Cardstock, Early Espresso Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock

Colors: Gilded Autumn DSP, Crumb Cake Cardstock, Brushed Metallic Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock, Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, Linen Thread

Colors: Forever Fern DSP, Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, Pretty Peacock Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock

I used the Flowers for Every Season 6×6 Designer Series Paper for these Calendar Easel Post-It Note Cards. I have the measurements and instructions so that you can make these too at the bottom of this post!

Colors: Just Jude Cardstock, Bumblebee Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, 2020-2022 In Color 1/4″ Ribbon, 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots, Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets

Colors: Just Jade Cardstock, Bumblebee Cardstock, Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Colors: Misty Moonlight Cardstock, Just Jade Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets

Instructions:

  • Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 11″, score on 11″ side at 2 3/4″ & 5 1/2″
  • Fold scores inward to create mountain fold, burnish
  • Layer: 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Cardstock Layers: Cut 2 pieces @ 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • DSP Layers: Cut 2 pieces @ 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • CS Calendar mat: 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
  • Adhere DSP to solid large cardstock mats for your panels
  • Adhere one panel to the inside of card
  • Adhere Post-It Note pad to that panel with Tear & Tape. This forms your stop for the top easel section
  • Adhere the remaining panel to the piece of Cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Lay the card down in the closed position with scored side up
  • Put Tear and Tape only on the bottom scored part
  • Adhere the Cardstock/DSP panel to that. Now you’ve formed your easel
  • Adhere the mini calendar with Tear and Tape to the small cardstock mat
  • Adhere that to the card front with Tear and Tape
  • Add embellishments to finish card
