Celebration Tidings Treat Bags

I love to make candy and treat favors for my booth at NW Creation & Collectibles in Gresham, Oregon, and with the Halloween and Fall holidays coming up these are the new favors and treats I made today. I love all things chocolate! I also found these Pumpkin Spice Cups (YUM!!) Today’s project features the Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Bundle. What do you think? *Ãœ*

Instructions:

  1. Insert: 8 x 3-3/4″ piece of cardstock, scored on the 8″ side at 2″. Fold on the score line and insert into cello bag, short end first. Add candy and staple at top to keep closed. Set aside.
  2. Topper: Plaid Tidings DSP, cut with 2nd largest die from Celebration Labels Dies. I also cut a coordinating piece of Basic Black Cardstock for the Halloween bag/So Saffron Cardstock for the Autumn bag, and adhered the DSP piece. Score in half.
  3. White Layer: Cut a label with the 4th largest Celebration Labels Die out of Whisper White Cardstock. Score on the long side at 2-1/8″. Stamp greeting and images from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set, fold on score line. Make pencil mark at 3/4″ and 1-3/4″ from left side, and about 1/4″ from the top.
  4. Assembly: Fold and center the Topper and White Layer over the top of the bag. Use either a Crop-a-Dile or 1/8″ Punch to cut out at pencil marks and feed an 8″ piece of ribbon through the holes and tie in front.
