Teacher Appreciation Cards

Today is the first day of (virtual) learning at Hollydale Elementary School, and I was honored to make these Teacher Appreciation Cards for each of the educators. Both of my daughters went to Hollydale years ago, and I feel a special connection to the school *Ü*

These cards were designed for the teachers based on the Hand-Drawn Blooms birthday cards I made. You can see the details for those cards on my post here, and I have those cards for sale in by booth at NW Creations.

I used bright colors for the card bases to create this “rainbow” of color based on the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper, which I used to cut the bouquet out of: Magenta Madness, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Rich Razzleberry & Gorgeous Grape.

The sentiment is from a retired stamp set, Here’s to a Strong Woman, which I cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies in Whisper White Cardstock and Silver Foil Sheets. I finished off the front of the card with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Artistry Blooms Sequins. For the inside of the card, I printed out the ‘We’re In This Together’ greeting from the Share the Sunshine download Stampin’ Up! released last April, which donated 100% of the profits to the COVID-19 relief fund.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
